African Movie Screen (Queen Of Katwe)

As part of the AFRICA DAY celebration, LAOIS AFRICA SUPPORT GROUP and DUNAMAISE ART CENTRE Portlaoise have come together to screen an African movie called QUEEN OF KATWE. The film depicts the life of Phiona Mutesi, a Ugandan girl living in a slum in Katwe. She learns to play chess and becomes a Female Candidate Master after her victories at World Chess Olympiads.
